Notes:

Revisiting Aldbury. Typical Chiltern spring countryside; hills, woods, farms, skylarks, cowslips bluebells. It maybe muddy so waterproof boots and sticks!
*the final mile, planned along the canal, proved to be too muddy for us when we walked that part of the route on 10 April. We took the alternative minor road. We hope to be able to check on the day if the towpath has dried out sufficiently but I think it will be only available to those with stout boots! It is an attractive part of the route and it would be a pity to have to take the alternative.
The message is: come wearing stout footwear.
