Bird Song Walk
The Isabella Plantation is in the middle of Richmond Park – If you are coming on public transport please use the message board and the directory* to get lifts from a tube station or bus to the Isabella plantation.
We will walk through the Isabella Plantation (as quietly as possible!) while Angus helps to identify the birdsong.
Supper
The Lass of Richmond Hill , 8 Queen's Road Richmond . Come out of Richmond Gate, turn right and right again at mini roundabout onto Queen's Road, pub is on right hand side about 50 metres from the mini roundabout. Simple pub food.
Notes Although we will mostly be listening to the bird song and trying to identify the various calls, it would be a good idea to bring binoculars if you have them. It's probably best not to bring dogs as they have to be on the lead in the Isabella Plantation.
Please bear in mind that you walk with the London Walking Group ENTIRELY AT YOUR OWN RISK
Check the LWG website http://www.londonwalkinggroup.org.uk/ for up-to-date details of walks and look at “message board” for lift shares
