After about 3 mins or 2.5 miles you will see a road bridge over the road; take the slip road to the left and turn right on the Marlow road A4155. Continue on the A4155, through Marlow following signs to Henley and Medmenham. After roughly 5.5 miles you reach Mill End. Immediately turn right for Hambleden, Skirmett and Fingest.
Drive up the hill. Take the second turning on the right to Hambleden village, signed Pheasant’s Hill. Pass the church on the left. Follow signs to Car Park, which is just beyond the Pub on the right:

Route:

am: A fairly steep climb up, including steps, and then along through woods. Some good views before dropping down to Skirmett. Along the valley back to the pub for lunch,
pm: Path to Mill End crossing the Thames on a spectacular long weir. Mostly flat, one hill on grassy paths. After the church at Remenham tow path back.

Lunch:

The Stag and Huntsman. We need to pre-order at the Pub. I will circulate a menu at the start of the walk and we can hand in a list at 10am. There is a set Sunday lunch but also sandwiches. There are outside tables but not for picnics.

Notes:

The Pub serves breakfast and is therefore open early. We can use their toilets.
