Putney Heath and Richmond Park

Travel. The bus stop is on Putney Hill on the 93 and 37 bus routes which you can join at the bottom of Putney Hill near the main line station There are regular trains and buses to the station from Richmond and environs. The 37 bus to Putney Heath goes from Clapham Junction
It is a short walk up the hill from Putney station The travel choices are yours
Return from Mortlake or Richmond
We will walk across Putney Heath and enter Richmond Park via the Chohole gate , across the park towards Sheen to exit via Bog Gate and walk across Sheen common to the pub.
After lunch you have the option to return home via Mortlake or have a further walk across Richmond Park and home via richmond
The Plough East Sheen
Mostly flat walking, some gentle slopes. Can be slippery and wet in places so sticks would be a benefit to the less able (like me).
