Richmond park
18 members met on a bright sunny day for a walk which in the words of Jane C was 'most enjoyavble and great to see friends after the Christmas break' and provided fresh air to blow away the festive cobwebs. It was lovely to have a new member who was a relative stranger to the highlights of Richmond park and we passed sights familiar to some and frash to ohers.
The Lass of Richmond Hill provide us with a communal table and a jolly lunch -all perfect. memories of sitting outside in the cold and wet during the pandemic were eased.
Thanks to Andy for the lovely photo of witch hazel blooming in ghe Isabella plantation
There is a train strike that day so car is the best option
