9 members met at Blakheath station and the nearby coffee shop before walking up the hill and into greenwich park, gardens and immediately surrounding areas . We survied a hail storm which covered the ground as if snow, admired the panorame from outside the Observtory and happily arrived at the Traflgar pub for a warming lunh of smoked haddock chowder
After lunch , when we were bathed in bright sunshine, we visited the Queens house and its magnificent collection especially admiring the Armada dress featured on the TV the night beforethen the majority caught an Uber boat home
