Return: Metropolitan Line from Rickmansworth
This walk explores a large tract of open countryside north of Ruislip. We visit Bayhurst Wood which forms part of Ruislip Woods Nature Reserve, an ancient semi-natural woodland of oak, hornbeam & beech. Much of the walk follows the Hillingdon Trail. In the second half of the walk there is a good stretch of towpath walking along the Grand Union Canal.
