Welcome
We are a group who enjoy the camaraderie of walking and the shared experience of exploring the rich country in and around London. We walk twice a month. Most of our walks are within an hours traveling distance of Central London but can be further in the summer months and once a year we arrange an away weekend. New comers are always welcome.
Walk Reports
A walk of mud, and then a little more mud and then even more mud. A paddock of skittish yearlings necessitaing an extended circuit to avoid them, onto private land only to be warned off by a charming young man in a large 4x 4 Lots of adventures met with lots of laughter. A happy group met at Frensham ponds and marched off with gay abandon into the woods with blue skies ans scudding clouds overhead. Optimism remained through out ,on this wonderful varied walk, boosted by a sustaining lunch at a welcoming pub with good beer.
12 members met on a blustery spring day. Sweeping clouds and a mix of blue skies and showers Lots of taking wet weather gear on and off but a sense of humour persisted and fun was had by all
High mud count but a very accomodating pub who looked after us well
