Hammersmith Bridge, towpath, Beverley Brook, Barnes Common, Roehampton Gate to Richmond Park, Pembroke Lodge, Ham, towpath, Richmond station
Lunch:
Pembroke Lodge Café - sandwiches, soup, salads, hot dishes. No pre-ordering or table reservation. Dogs are not allowed in Pembroke Lodge gardens or café (there is a refreshment point outside the perimeter).
Notes:
This is a part-recce’d linear walk exploring green spaces with some minimal road walking. It’s the rutting season in Richmond Park so we need to take care to keep away from deer, keep dogs on leads etc.
The 65 bus from Petersham by the Dysart goes to Richmond station for anyone who wishes to finish at lunchtime.
