North Downs Way Guildford to Gomshall

The weather was perfect- a complete season of mists and mellow fruitfulness- the route was lovely and ably lead by our very own Leaderene, the company as usual was excellent,-13 people turned out including 2 new walkers who were very welcome. It was just a pity about the incidentals. Rather a long wait for lunch and a 3 hour journey home by train. But after a cup of tea, a large gin and tonic and a hot bath in that order, they faded into the background and all was well with the world
