Thames Tributaries, river Medway, Tonbridge to Nettlestead.

After a hesitant start exploring the roads of Tonbridge the group was very excited to break out onto the banks of the River Medway and discover a magical walk along a peacful slow flowing river that was not intimidated by its eventual meeting with the great River Thames Skies were threatening but encouraged by enough blue sky to make many pairs of sailors trousers a happy group of ten strolled along the river bank exclaiming at its natural charm Beautiful reflections , wild life and river flowers

Good fish and chips at the Man of Kent and an early departure for some while others walked on to face the travail of trains back to the big city
