Osterley Lock to South Kenton.

Three of us met at Boston Manor Station and set forth in brilliant sunshine to DO the last section of the Capiatl Ring and I am happy to report that it was well worth the effort. Although a bit slow flowing and polluted in spots the Brent River and Osterley Canals were quite remarkable It would be wonderful to envisage them clean and free flowing What an asset the locals would have After the waterways our path took us through verdant fields and hills allowing good views into London and lead us onto Harrow- on-The Hill Quite a contrast A wonderful tea and a stroll through the playing fields of the famous school brought via Northwick Park Hospital to South Kenton Station with a selection of train lines home. For a committed South Londoner it was all brilliant and I would recommend any one to take the opportunity to explore this divers part of the Ring
