Chiltern Snowdrop Walk

This walk was exactly as it said on the packet - a most excellent snow drop walk. 14 good people set ouyt from Turvile on a damp and misty morning to be entranced by swathes of snowdrops which appeared throughout day We trudged merrily up the hilla way form Turville and found our way into the Stonor Estate with its mystical atmosphere of woodland and dingly dells, then on towards Pishill where we recieved as ever an excellent lunch from the Crown Pub. 3 further members joined us in a bid to blow away various lurgies that had been plaguing them ( I trust the effort was successful
The afternoon was cheered by sunshine and a happy group returned to their cars elated with the excitement of celebrity spotting
