Limehouse basin to Battersea Power station

This was a most amusing walk with a variable number of walkers
The thames path from Linehouse is a bit inconsistent -closures for sewage works - and multiple cul de sacs that took us to the Thames bank with splendid views of the river sparkling in the sunshine and then back to motley roads showing prevoius glories of old London and updated homes both modern and refurbished warehouses. Memories were stirred around the Prospect of Whitby
Along the south bank stopping at theFounders arms for lunch and later passing a sculture cast by ghe daughter of a late member Alexs Newman.
And on to Battersea Power Station which was looking fantastic after its long awaited changes
A boogie session took place after which I sent walkers home.After all it is my home patch and what would the neighbours say
