Slow Lane walk Hyde Park to South Kensington

After a rather shaky start due to Publc Transport having problems coping with the cold weather, 10 of us set off to the Serpentine Cafe for coffee taking in Wellington Arch, NZ war memorail , the Machine Gun Corp memorial, the Rose Garden and the Holocaust memorial on the way. From there we went on to the Serpentine Gallery and had great fun attempting AI choral composition with our own voices !!! A further amble took us the the Russain Orthodox church which was in splendid Christmas garb as they had celebrated Christmas the previous day. in need of lunch we fled to the Goethe Institue wher we were looked after in splendid style consumong German sausages. After lunch it was straight down to the underground duly exhasted with so much excitement
