Two London Parks and a bit of Marylebone
What a great day out. 25 set out, certainly a record turnout for recent walks. What a lovely day! The parks enhanced by the sunshine, I for one enjoyed revisiting Kensington gardens which have been interestingly restored and Regent's Park which I knew as a student. Delicious lunch at Maroush, which did not blink at the unexpected arrival of 17 walkers, and our Marylebone blue plaque tour made a good link between the parks. And then the tea. Only ten of us for crumpets and Christmas cake, much appreciated and clearly the loss of those who fell by the wayside.
Our thanks to Line for the well researched walk and Terence, crumpet cooker extraordinary.
Happy Christmas to one and all, Margaret M.
